I suggest that you create a better search.
1. I want the possibillity to sort results by popularity, rating, space, upload, support and more.
2. The possibillity to create a filter based on features like front page support, ftp, space and more.

I believe what he means is a filter to pull up results by additional options within your search engine.

Isn't there already an option to filter searches based on FTP, Frontpage, etc. ?

At least, last I checked there was.
