Frihost is working with a 'Point' system. Note that it is still in Beta. The points are measuring your activity. Negative points mean that you aren't active enough.

A specific amount of points (1 at the moment) is deducted every day. However this may (will) change depending on what a user posts on average. You may get up to 2 points for a post at the moment.

99.95% uptime - wall street network

Oh, does that mean Wall Street is down 0.05% of the time?

I think I might even choose this service.

Bondings, do you mean that we have to create a topic and then it has to have 5 posts or what?

99.95% uptime - wall street network
Oh, does that mean Wall Street is down 0.05% of the time?
I think it's 99.9995% for their network, but nobody will ever believe all those nines if I put them on my website. But Wall Street is going down more than 0.05% of the time, if you get what I mean. Otherwise we would all be very very rich. :P

Honestly, at the moment of speaking our server has never been down, not even the mysql databases. :classic2:

BC200, you have to post 5 messages to get the hosting, wether they are new topics or just replies doesn't matter.
BTW, the request is NOT counted as one of those five posts. We had a few people posting the request as the fifth post and we didn't really know what to do. :confused4 :biggrin2:

At the moment we are determining which ads are the best for our website. Most probably only the google (text) ads will remain as I understand that it can be quite slow to load image ads if you have a slow dial-up internet connection.

It's good host that im using. actually requires 10 or 15 posts per month only.
very fast and no downs so far.
If you make a quality post, 10 is enough at their phpbb points system.
