I've got a server that's not being used much so I'm going to give away some hosting accounts with the following:

PHP/Perl
MySQL
Email
Usermin Control Panel

If you're interested, send me an email with the amount of diskspace and bandwidth you require, along with a brief description of what you're going to do with it.

There will be no forced ads or any crap like that, hoping to get some good karma out of this, lol

Adult sites are ok as long as they don't host movie files, and everything else is cool as long as it's not illegal. Low traffic sites are ok too. Send your email to

I've had this server for about a year and plan to keep it indefinitely as I have a couple of small sites on it that actually do more than pay for the server itself and uses up very little resources. I'll never try to make anyone pay for it, and once you're hosted as long as you don't cause any major headaches you're welcome to keep your site here for the life of the server (or me), lol

I'm getting to everyone's emails as quickly as I can, I got more than expected faster than I expected, but still lots of space left.

Just to clarify by "indefinite" I mean I don't plan to ever stop hosting these sites, or charge anyone anything, I just don't want to say I'll host it "forever" because I'm not going to live forever and I can't guarantee what will happen if I die, go blind, etc.

For those of you b1tching and complaining, I'm sorry but I am not a webhost, I'm not trying to sell anyone anything and I can only devote so much time to answering emails.

I simply offered to share some of the unused resources that I have, I've received some offers from some kind folks willing to help out with this, but from some of the emails I've received I'm not sure I'll give anyone else anything, it's a shame there are so many jerks out there that expect tons of space and bandwidth AND for me to cater to their every need.

I have a business to run myself, and it doesn't include having to deal with people -----ing at me when I was just trying to do a nice thing.

This rant is not targetted toward everyone, I have gotten some really nice emails that actually appreciate what I was trying to do, but for the rest of you. :shame:

Sorry dude, I can only devote so much time to this, I've gotta pay bills, and it costs me money to have my servers, since I don't sell hosting, or charge anyone that I set up, priority #1 for me has got to be running my non-hosting related business.

I haven't forgotten about anyone, I've still got sites to set up, I've still got emails to read, but I can only tend to them when I have extra time. So be patient or shove off, no skin off my back.

Edit: Mods feel free to close this thread if that's what people want.

On a side note, for people that have sent me emails in Japanse or Chinese or whatever it is, I can only read english, sorry.

What exactly am I responsible for? I'm just a bloke with a few servers that I keep up for redundancy issues, most don't have much on em' except a few of my own sites, or empty servers just incase I need em'.

Thought it'd be cool to help out a few people that need some server space/bandwidth/php/mysql etc.

I was in a lot of these peoples shoes before and would have done anything to have a bit of space on someone's servers, so paying it forward seemed like a cool idea.

I don't ask for money, I don't ask for people to put ads on their sites, I don't ask for anything in return.

Am I slow as hell setting up accounts? I do them all by hand so sure! Am I out of space? No. It's just a take it or leave it deal, if you're in a big hurry then use another free host, I don't mind at all. Just trying to do what I can do, when I can do it, to help out a few people.

Anyway, I'm done posting in this thread, if people still wanna email me go for it, I will eventually get to you, and people that have already mailed, I'll get to those emails too.

If you need hosting yesterday, maybe you'll have better luck somewhere else. I also would like to thank everyone that's put forth kinds words and encouragement, I do appreciate it.

Hmm i am a poet and i guess my poetry just sucked cause me know nothing about poetry. and ya i noticed he didnt dissappear i just talked to him on yahoo and he is still cool with me after all this and said will make me account but he is busy like hell that was about 10 hrs ago and he said it will take 10mins :tongue2: so i guess he gets distracted or something . Plus the bad news i heard from him is he doesnt have a whm or any kinda suitable control panel so has to do accounts by hand using mannual commands and stuff and thats why he was not able to make accounts, but still has lots to make and is getting tired of duplicate emails so people stop sending duplicate emails and in chinese lol thats why i asked some mod to close it till he could get back to accounts and emails and he understood as u dont see him having a bash with me no more. Anyways i let u guys know if he succeds in making my account that might raise all other people's hope.

Its a free service which the guy is giving alot and not promising anything. Complaining is quite out of the question.

Though some might demand a reply, I think the frustration comes to mostly not getting an account rather than being angry at him because you think he's obliged to reply. No reply is quite understandable from a non-formal, free service. Let's not spam on this issue when the issue is originally about avoiding spam :P
