CH is swiss? I thought is was China. China is CN I am guessing.

Yep, that is correct.

I don't think any international domains will be free anymore. Only one I heard of was .mu

mu isnt free, correct me if im wrong...its $100 for two years. Im not sure what it is through nic.mu, but it says they bill you.
