How much should I charge?

I have been approached by a company requesting a price for advertising on my site.

The problem is I dont know howmuch to charge. I have a very busy site with a very good and loyal audience.

I was thinking of offering the following packages.

1 x Site wide advert in rotating Banner at the top right hand side of the page (advert sized at max 234 * 60px ) – for a period of 6 months
1 x text link at the bottom of the site, listed as a “sponsor” for AlternateEagles.com – for a period of 6 months
1 x 468 * 60 advert on Sponsors page – for a Period of 1 year

or

1 x 468 * 60 advert on Sponsors page – for a Period of 1 year
1 x 468 * 60 Banner at the bottom of the page for 1 year

or

Month by month advertising in any of the above formats

For an adiditional price either per time or under a 1 year contract I want to offer an "advertorial" where advertisers can have a approx 500 word news item or advertorial posted on our news page (the main front page which recieves most hits). with an image whihc lasts for 48 hours.


What I am wondering is in view of my stats vs my packages what should i be charging?

I think advertisers would prefer it if the package terms for for 1 month to 3 months. You never know when a website is going down.

but what sort of price should I offer?
