What do you think about this logo...

I designed this logo based on some other graphic. What do you think. Can it get any better, can you please do it for me? and how about making it a bit more compact and squarish

graphic explanation
the white thing is a spotlight. the words are merazone.com which is the domain name for my upcoming site. it is almost enclosed by an arc which in engraved into the background.

I'm very sorry, byt I can only see one thing it could be and that's rather for big girls than for boys. Mostly anyway. What is it then?

Spotlight? You mean like the actual shade part? *lol* I tried to figure it as some kind of ceramics, but..I see know what you meant with for boys, yeah, could be that too.:D
It still looks good anyway. Nice greyscale and light . Guess the meaning will be more clear in the right context.

I'am still confused. I can see only one thing and that is the logo for my site , nothing else. :confused:

Sure you can do me a new logo. The logo was made in photoshop and since i'am a photoshop newbie i haven't realised it's full power yet. Do you know of any good online photoshop tuts?

ps: Do you see anything unsual in the logo like meow did? And why don't you like the logo?

The bg in the logo was drawn in psp7 and manipulated a bit.

like the phong background and vannova foreground ( that egyptian style) or tell me how it's done and i'll myself do it in photoshop.

I did'nt like your first logo because being a designer myself, I can see how it was done, and I think it was very under worked (needs more detail done and the lighting effect was way ott), if you see what I mean.

Seeing as you are a newbie to this I can say that it was a very good attempt, but not proffesional. :)

uhhh I don't remember I had to format my hard disk and I lost that font. You can use any good font you like or any other font similar to that one.

Does anyone else recognize the font in the graphic?
