i need some help

well iam new to host thing, so i have registered in cogia.com for free hosting, the reason i've registered is to upload some zips files so that my friends can download them later...

but i dont know how to upload files so that it could be used to download by my friend....
i think i dont know the procedure to do it...
any hints please... :cry2:

First do you know your host will allow this, most free hosting does not. If so just make a link pointing to that file on your page like: <a href="freehostname/filename.zip">Ha HA zip file(this is the part you see)</a>

If you host does not allow ftp up-loading, most browser up-loading won't handle a zip file. However some will I used to be with Angelfire, and theirs would.
