To cool things down further here... what is your favorite military aircraft?
My favorite is the F-22 or Eurofighter 2000 Typhoon.
What about you?

There are tons of problems on the Osprey, horrible computer glitches and now some other problems with the program itself.

I also like the AMX, this aircraft is built by Italian and Brazilian Industries and is not widely known though it has characteristics like the F-15.

i like that one with the huge---- cannons with bullets like a 30 pound shotput at 200 rounds per second, and the 5,000 mega-ton bombs... goes around kicking everyone's ---, and it's made of that special metal that never dents or gets blown up. yeah, that's definitely my favorite.

My all time favorite is the Republic F-105 Thunderchief (Thud), followed by the North American F-86 Sabre. Although the Canadair built version of the Sabre was a bit better.

You think the X-Wing looks futuristic from Star Wars? I think not. I will show you guys that the future is already here:

I don't even know anybody with a 'favorite military aircraft'. I have a favorite car though... 1989 Buick Park Avenue... cause it's what I drive.

This is what I drive: http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/ef0002.jpg ... easy to get to a resturant... if the parking lot is empty I will land, the F/A-18 is very verstile in landing. Hehe.

In real life I still like the F-16 fighting Falcon.
In fanatasy terms though it'd have to be the Vorlon Squid fighters from Babylon 5. Organic fighters, very cool.

I like the A-10 ... it can lose half of its wing, one engine, and still get back to base...
the F-22 is cool, too.
and, lets not forget the "Aurora".. aka the X-43 space plane. if you see how the engines on the X-43 are, and the way the "Aurora" has been reported to be... they are the same.. well, the Aurora could be any ramjet powered plane, I guess...
