Is there a free host provider that can support the vbulletin board?
Preferably one that doesn't ad a banner to a page...

5mb of mySQL won't be enough space for a vbulletin.

I'm sure it's not a legal copy of vbulletin...

Yes, this has been asked before, and it just ended up in discussions about pirate copies of the vb.
And maybe he bought it in a second hand shop :p
if you're so desperate to get vB that you would download an illegal copy, you might as well edit phpBB. they have all the features vB does now including password encryption in the SQL database, and they certainly have a lot of hacks for it. that's what i'm doing right now. vB's too hard to edit to my taste right now. i'd rather make my own mod of phpBB.
