I would like to know what browser is better Mozilla Firefox or Netscape Browser? :confused4
For Windows nt based OSes
Better being securty/reliabilty/speed ect?

At the moment, I think Firefox is better compared to most browsers. Though, there are talk that the new Opera browser is very good.

Firefox. Since netscape is basically firefox with a few more lines of code, you might as well go with the trusted and true.

It's all preference really.

I prefer Phoenix/Firebird/Firefox on Windows/Linux... and of course Safari on Macs. ;)

Lynx is still good for some things as well though.

I use firefox ever since I have had the web at home (4 months) and some one told me it realy sucks and netscape is the best. I just wanted to know what others thought.

Yeah... FireFox is really good.

The second best for me personally is Opera . ( I stored them in my pendrive because it is that good, lol )

You know how some uni computers blocked certain sites ? ( like hotmail.com ).

well basically they just did something to the internet explorer and to by pass that install Opera in your pendrive :-)

That would not work because of 2 reasons.

1. You cannot open a .exe on another computer because they usually stop it.
2. THe windows firewall will block it.

Yes you can, unless you using a different operating system.
