That's my question: Do newsgroup information have copyright?
I have heard that it don't.

I am actually interested using movie reviews and pictures from newsgroups. As I noticed these reviews have usually some text links pointing to writer's homepage and things like this.

I don't think they do, it is a public forum. IF any author has a note specifically stating copyright then you have to abide by that. But it is good manners to mention the source from where you got the review. Most articles I have seen mention that the information is based on so and so newsgroup written by so and so. Better still why not ask the author directly?
