Hey Guys,

coming to you like a beggar here. For a very limited time (around 30 days or so) i need a host which supports .Net and SQL Server and FTP access.

I don't care if there's 600 ads on each page as it's not for a public site.

I'm trialing community server (www.communityserver.org) which is a community web application and for that i need to run .Net and SQL Server.

i'll say this - it's NOT a commercial site, warez or in anyway illegal site. Bandwidth will be minimal as it's only for testing and development purposes. Once if got everything ironed out then i'll move it all to a paid host.

If anybody can provide this then i'd be a happy camper.

Cheers and thanks in advance for any offers!

I was about to post same thing.

deprecated, you probably won't get this for free. .Net runs on windows and windows costs a lisence and SQL server costs a host from $1000 to $20,000 to run.

Just make sure you have email that can take more then 200+ emails showing you that new account just created! And yes, sorry about getting anyone confused, we only have Red Hat Lunix

I do apologies for that, only reason I post it here, to give you options, even though you didn't ask for any options. :-)

Yeah i know it runs under windows - been working with .Net since early beta and sql server since 6.5...

I'll have to correct you though on the pricing - or maybe inform you about a service type called SPLA (Service Provider License Agreement) which basically is a pay-as-you-go licensing model from MS. I do believe that SQL Server 2000 comes at the price of around the AU$30/month, Windows 2003 less than that. Last server i set up was a dual xeon, two OS's (Windows 2003) and two virtual server licenses and i believe the monthly cost for the company was less than AU$120.

(only silly people pay the full licensing model if you're a web host).

Anyways - not really advertising hosting or software...guess no hand outs forthcoming yet..the search continues.

still looking...

No it wasn't - the only reason you posted in here was to get your hosting mentioned as there was absolutely no relevans to my query in your post.

none - zip - nada - null.
