Did you get that layout/template from freewebtemplates.com or any other free template provider? Not to be offensive, but it looks really familiar.

Regardless where you got it from, i think you should come up with some sort of color scheme. You're using blue on the buttons, Red for the heading, and lime green for the banner thing.

Another thing: Use something other than Times New Roman for your font.
