Why not link to the not-so-ethical site? http://www.boxingdownloads.com/
I don't know where you learned website design, but it's got to honestly be one of the ugliest designs floating on the web. I hope that you're prosecuted for knowingly breaking copyright law, the legal "disclaimer" posted:
Legal Notice and Disclaimers
There are people who work for studios and production companies that pose as "collectors" and "traders" with the sole purpose to trick us into a potential copyright violation and/or situation. Therefore, by visiting this website or e-mailing me you acknowledge the following statements.
1. I affirm that I am not working for any television or movie production studio, network or affiliated organizations. I am not employed by the government be it U.S or Canadian, affiliated agencies or any type of sub-contractor or independent agent. I am not a postal inspector. By e-mailing you I understand that these trades are collector to collector and any incidental costs that are involved are not for product or labor but transportation of said goods. No profit is made from my tape trading and is done only for my enjoyment, to help out others and the chance to expand my own collection. Tape trading is a hobby not an occupation or a business to me. This site is not for commercial use.
2. In regards to the legality of the Video Home recording Act settled by Congress with the Home Recording Act (P.L 102-563,106 Stat 4237, Codified at 17 U.S.C 1001-1010) in October 1992. No action may be brought under this title alleging infringement of copyright based on manufacture, importation or distribution of a digital or analog recording medium or based on the non-commercial use of such a device or medium. No rights are intended, expressed or implied.
3. In case there are still questions regarding copyright infringement to be raised I request that you review this Supreme Court Case: Sony.Corp vs. Universal City Studios (1984) under copyright law. This is located at www.findlaw.com. The exact address for this case file is http://laws.findlaw.com/us/464/417.html.
4. You understand that these trades or donations are collector to collector and any incidental costs that may be involved are not for product, but for labor. All charges placed on the reproduction of any and all video footage are attached to the time, materials, machine wear & tear and return shipping & packaging.
5. If you enter this site without agreeing to any of the above terms you are violating code 341.322.12 of the INTERNET PRIVACY ACT OF 1995 which means you cannot threaten my ISP or any other company hosting these pages, and you cannot prosecute any person affiliate with this site including family, friends, or anyone entering this site.http://www.boxingdownloads.com/Legal%20notice.htm (note - why on earth did you put a space in a filename???) means absolutely nothing. Yes alright so America has some stupid law protecting "personal use recordings" - well done genius - but this includes recordings made from broadcast, not recordings made from recordings - that's piracy. I hope they stick your butt in gaol for 50 years.

Perhaps I should explain something. Aside from the fact I try and keep as up to date as possible on Australian and International Laws like piracy laws, I also work for a cable television company. Sharing television recordings is like sharing MP3's. Or sharing movies for that matter - it's piracy, in exactly the same way. Australia has the most internet television piracy in the world, followed by Britain.
I do believe in the right to personal back-up copies, however I should note that legally we don't have this right. It is illegal to personally back-up your CD that you legally own. It is illegal to personally back-up your DVD that you legally own. It is illegal to personally back-up any other kind of music/audio or video product, even if it's purely in the interests of preserving it like from VHS --> DVD - for that kind of backup you need the copyright holder's permission, and usually (when the VHS is all they released) they'll be happy to grant you that permission. Recording television programs for personal use, is illegal as is. There is no Australian law that protects or recognizes "acceptable use".
The only thing you are legally entitled to back-up is software. Like I said though, I do believe in personal back-up copies. I believe if you've bought the CD you should be allowed to transfer it to your MP3 player, etc - but like I said this is all actually illegal. Alright, so American law does allow you to legally tape of TV (it doesn't, however, allow you to make "back-up" copies of the stuff you own). That's as far as acceptable use goes.
He designed and hosts a website which breaks copyright law, and is piracy. And television piracy effects my client, who pays me $$$... so anything that hurts my client hurts me. Taking their income takes from my income - DIRECTLY. I've met people who say to me "I don't need cable TV, I just download all the TV shows I want to watch". So no, I do not think it's okay. I'll note that Australian TV companies do believe that customers should be allowed to record TV programming to "view later"; but recording off TV to keep forever is piracy - and I concur with this stance.
