Is there any other free webbased email sites out there? Everyone.net is ok, but they are used so much that no one signs up because it's so commonly found now. I need one that can be customized down to the smallest detail. Not just using templates. Thanks. (SSI options would be great)

The only other email service i know of is bigmailbox.com and it is almost the same as everyone.net bu i believe it provides greater customization.

It is remotely hosted. If you want something that you can customize down to the samllest detail, you'll need to install a script yourself, or write one.

Yeah but that requires GB's of space.

The script wouldn't, but hosting an email service yourself (instead of using everyone.net) is a whole other bag of beans.

so you mean i can use a script (other than everyone.net's defualt scripts) that will interact with everyone.net's servers? Is that ok with everyone.net?

Everyone has a thing called Integrated Login (IL).
Costs $5000 to setup. (don't think many will signup)
Then you can integrate their and your services really good (ie use your own database and more).
Or you can do your own little script to fit the everyone service into yours.
It is possible to do a script that used everyones servers to store and recieve emails, but used your own templates when viewing them. But don't think Everyone would like that ;)

Oh well. I think www.i-p.com will suite me just fine. Looks good from here, though I wish they wouldn't play ads on the login page.

To use squirrelmail you need to run your own pop mail server.
Nothing like everyone or BMB.

The maximum you could provide is 100 accounts with 1 MB of storage each.

That's ok with me, I would only need to create around 20 accounts.

To use squirrelmail, just go to http://www.squirrelmail.org and download the package. Really simple to setup.
You can't use squirrelmail to setup the pop accounts, only to check and send your mail.

So it's basically just a script for checking mail? I'm not capable of changing MX records, so I need to use things like that.

yes, thats right. Squirrelmail changes no MX records and does not create pop-accounts. It's only a webbased emailreader that does the same things as eudora or Outlook.
You don't have to be able to change MX records to use a popmailserver (well you need to bee able to change it once to get your mails to the right server, but that needs to be done with everyone and BMB too.)

I can't use BMB or every1, because I CAN'T change MX records. Well, it's kinda hard to reate a box for every user, don't you think?

I have about 198 e-mail users on my everyone.net account. Sign-ups are as good as before, but oh well.

I keep deleting mails on my hotmail account. Can anybody tell me which email service provides the most space?

Wow look how dumb I am. I just found out that my ISP - Bellsouth.net DSL lets me access my mailbox from the web. The mailbox is unlimited, oh joy!
