Which type of Free Hosting advertisement bothers you the least?

Text links, bottom inline banners, or user placable banners. Popups on every page is a pain in the ---.

No Ads, just junk mail... hey have you ever heard of filtering?
I haven't used a free host for nearly two years.

No ads - just junk mail would be my choice.

I wouldn't mind one pop-up, but a pop-up on every page just gets to be too annoying. Having a banner on each page wouldn't be that bad either.

Textlink, Buttons, User placeable.

Top banners arent too bad as long as they are not too big. Bottom banners are better. Popups are the worst if they are on every page.

Single popups or footer banners, please.
Thank you

I prefer a million junk mail in my inbox every day over pop-ups or banners. Heck, it's not like I'm gonna use my main inbox for that, so it's okay. :p

hehe

it's kinda weird, though... I think all "Free Webspace Providers" should call themselves "no pay webspace providers"... ;)

I think so because he already has his server bluehost.cc up and running. And i guess that is why he's taking this survey to decide what kind of ads to put on member pages.

NetCabins should be coming back in 1-2 weeks. BlueHost is a separate project from NetCabins.

We have already decided on what type of ads we are placing; I was just curious of which types most people prefer.

NetCabins' re-opening depends on my business partner, John from DataBlocks, getting everything set up and ready to roll. Things are not 100% ready yet, but I think they're getting closer.

You are still with datablocks? I thought the company was sold to someone else.

DataBlocks merged with Lead Streams Marketing. LSM provides funding. John still runs it, and he's still helping out with NetCabins according to plans.

Asking a bit further...

What would you then prefer of this:

A single popup only on the index page or a very small topbar, 10-20 pixels in size without any fancy and annoying colours? This bar would be on each page you have.

I'd prefer no ads but a few pieces of crap mail in my optional e-mail account isn't that bad.

I don't want my sponser to go broke.

User placable, and one popup a day are good. Also textlinks and bottom are fine. I would use the one popup/day. Generates the most revenue, and it's not anoying.

User placeable ads without question---and no junk mail.
