Hi,
I am a student in Brazil and I help a few poor people to learn to read.
The problem is that I do that by myself, with no one helping me.
I need a laptop, even if it's kinda old, so I can help them better and also to give them some computing lessons.
I can't afford a new laptop, but I have a blog (it's on my signature) and I can put a link for your site if you wish to, and if you help me with my problem.

Thanks

Have you tried asking any local groups for help? or plan some sort of fundraising activity? I've also seen some sites in which you can put up your project and they can give you some money if they like your idea and know what you're going to use that money for. (I'd give you the link, but I can't find it right now.)

well.. some universities give away old laptops for people in needs. Not sure if that apply to your country

Or if Brazils government is no longer corupt, they might offer some sort of community service grant. You can get them here in Australia.

Alternatively, you could pick one up real cheap on eBay.
