what the f* do you mean with southcast?
whoa watch the language! i'm talking about a script that runs on the server that "plays" each song through in a random fashion, and when people request the stream, all of the users connected will hear the same thing. i know it can be done in C, but i'm too lazy :p

Don't shoutcast servers come with all these things already in them?
no, i'm talking about making an emulated shoutcast server using port 80.

Sorry for asking, I know very little about shoutcast servers. What is an emulated shoutcast server?
emulated as in fake or simulated
i want to make a simulated version of a shoutcast server, such that it'll run and people can access it via a cgi-c file or something like that.
