I was just wondering whether these two can run together in one PC or not, because both got diff functions. thx

Yes, both programs allow you to modify the port on which they run, so as long as they run on different ports, then you should be fine.

just wondering which is better all around apache or abyss cause I tried abyss made for the noob and apache well I never got it down...

Apache is without a doubt better, as long as you can handle it.

you know what i coticed with apache its that evryone uses 1.3.3.3 whatevr it is and the newest one which is like over 2 I never seen on any website how come?

might be that they never cared to update there version, some dont like to because it can break cPanel and all them other nice little things that make hosting easyer or they dont know how to. If its not there box then they cant really do much but ask their host to update, but like I said before they dont like to, besides why fix whats not broken (unless there is a major security fix or the likes).
