Is there any website where I can get a COMPLETELY FREE domain name without paying those Internic fees? I only need a domain name, I have already found a web hosting service (but there I don't get my own web address)! I would be glad if anyone could help me! I've been searching for two years!

I forgot to write: I don't want to place ads on my website!

Since I believe that you are somewhat serious about your website (since you want a domain), you should be willing to buy a domain name. There are tons of cheap registrars out there, just buy a domain and use mydomain.com or zoneedit.com to point the domain to your webhost. If you are stupid enough to believe that any company will give you a domain name, and not impose ads on you, you have a serious problem. Where do you think they get the money to pay for the domain? Out of there own pocket? And if they did, theyd go bankrupt and close down their business within a couple of days.

but when i want to buy it, they sell more expensive.
i've posted this already, you will not get your OWN domain name for free. Neither internic nor any registrar will give you a top-level TLD for free. it's preposterous. if your hosting company offers a free domain, they own the domain.

I got a couple when Namezero and Namedemo were giving out free domains(1 Year Free...I think, then it runs out, pretty generous in my opinion) . But I think they cut off this service. Namezero still has a link to signup free domains, but they really won't accept an account. It says it will now take 6 weeks, but I try registering a new one, and it's been at least 3 months and no answer yet, so I think they are not accepting anymore free accounts, and I'm positive Namdemo is not accepting any.
Bad thing about these free domain services was/is...a huge frame ad banner at the bottom. This doesn't really bother me, I mean they are giving you a domain, plus you can always redirect it to your ad free host.
I'd say just go ahead and pitch out the $15 a year. You could go work at McDonald's for 3 hours and quit, then go buy a domian :D

Um, guys... I got a free domain last january. It runs out real soon, but the fact is, is that I actually got two free ones. A while back domainzero.com offered free domains with no ads whatsoever. They had over 13,000,000 signups and then they changed to paid. So, um, yeah it was once an option to get completely free domains, with no ads, and you, yourself own the domain. I could sell mine if I wanted to......
but im not going to ;)
