I have an old copy of my osCommerce database but due to the down time with StaticHost i rebult my shop in the mean time. Now i have the backup of my old one is it possble to import my old clients and orders into my fresh copy of the shop.?

yes..

just use phpmyadmin to backup and execute the queries.

phmyadmin only works if the database size is small. If yours is large trying using ssh to back it up

i tryed this but it did not update in the admin of the shop :confused4

well.. just make sure you select the right database

well when i added the records from my old DB to the new one (i.e the users, with there address) then looked at the users in the admin it did not show them

I never use the software but it should be the same idea. I guess it could be any of your settings
