View Full Version : A question noone seems to be able to answer...please help me !!!

I'm looking for a free site. Any free site. It doesn't matter. There's just one catch. I post in bboards like this alot. I currently have a homepage on angelfire and when I try to post an image from my angelfire site all I get is their logo. Is there a free server out there that I can use to store my images so that I can post them in bboards?

It doesn't really matter. He's just looking for a site where he can hotlink images that he puts on message boards. IDK but i think www.f2s.com works.

geocities works also. just change the extension to .html :D

Hotlinking is the process through which a user uploads an image to one server and then calls it from another. For example, if you upload an image to geocities.com and then post it on an ebay auction listing, you would be hotlinking that image from geocities.

i see yet...and isn't it supported by some server? essentially we are talking about a link that points another server (it might be a downloads either...

Yep, F2's will do the trick--I have hotlinked from them before..... :D

the pay hosts will allow it though (as long as you dont use up all your bandwidth)...so technically you should be saying "Almost no free hosts support it anymore" :D
