RAM requirements...

Looking for opinions here... for a pretty small (yeah for niche marketing!) paid host running on 2 400MHZ dedicated servers on some high speed network or other, what's the minimum amount of RAM that will still render the server useable and pretty fast?

Well I would say the minimum would be 128mb of ram but you would be alot better off with 256mb, 512mb, or 1 GB of ram.

Any decent server would have 256 if you'd even think about using it for hosting. It's so cheap now that I'd suggest 512.

Some large enterprise servers have up to 80GB of ram.

I would start with 128, then check the memory uasage and upgrade when needed

The voice of reason. This is a good amount to start out at. More the better of course...
