I use and like LeechFTP but it has limitations. So I've been waiting for the Pro version, BitBeamer, announced to be released in the beginning of 2001. A new domain was up for BitBeamer but the release was delayed. Now the domain has been down for ever and there's only fragments left of the Leech site. Anyone knows what's up with Jan Debis and if the project is down altogether?

I think the LeechFTP project was shelved. Why not use WSFTP Pro 6.7 .. definitely better. Cracks are available too.

I used to use Ws_FTP LE, but I recently upgraded. The Pro has only a couple new things, but it's woth a shot!

Yes, Leech was shelved long ago because he started to work on BeatBeamer instead. It went through Beta testing, was ready for public release and then - nada.

I have a bunch of other FTP apps. That's not the problem. :(

Leech is still my FTP of choice because of its ease of Use. I also like ftpcommander.

I like the threading and the speed and the small footprint. Use it a lot for downloading too. What I hate is to have to fire up slow WS when I need to move files on the server and the bookmarks need to be improved.
----, why didn't I beta test. Then I would have had a copy.
