Is it possible ... to transfer a page from a server to an other server (where you've got ftp acces) ???
something like the 'web thief' script (see http://www.utilmind.com/scripts/webthief.html )
but not that expensive ... I'm only 16 years old ...and I don't have the money to pay that :(
Cgi or Php please
once again, sorry for my bad english ...

You could do it with telnet.
Make telnet connection to your current server.
type:
ftp
open www.newserver.com
username
password
help (for the remaining commands to transfer your files)
I thought it was something with 'put'
Also 'mput' to transfer multiple files.
Why don't you copy your website to your local harddrive and then to your other server?

I don't have telnet acces ... :( (for the moment)
And I'm on low bandwith, so it would cost a lot of time to copy it first my PC, and upload it then with FTP

You could always FXP (http://www.flashfxp.com/) the files from one server to another.

First time I heard about this program ... looks great !!!
Do the files go directly from server to server ???

Yes, the files go from server to server without needing to go to your computer first.

I just downloaded it (FlashFXP), but I don't know how it works ... can you help me please ???
(and btw, do you need ftp acces on both or only on one server ?I only have FTP acces on one of the two servers)

Then it seems that this won't work for you. You need ftp access to both servers.
All it is though is pretty much just a regular ftp client. Instead of tranferring files from your computer you just transfer them from the other site.

Many servers don't allow remote ftp connection (hypermart.net for example)
The only option left would be remote -> local -> remote.
How many megabytes is it?
What are the servers?

The server (the new one) will be ready in a couple of days.
Normaly it supports remote ftp connection ...
The server will be hosted by http://www.xcite.net (ded. hosting), and the old files are on some free servers (mostly http://www.belgacom.net)
Where talking about +/- 150 Mb zip's, exe's and images (jpg and gif) ... from some selfmade websites and some applications (games) that I wrote .... + a little software archive

Yeagh .. Belgacom.net has FTP ... BUT I LOST THE PASSWORDS :o !!!!
I had them on a list ... and I lost it :(
I didn't put them on by myself ... a friend with high bandwith putted them on ... not in 1 time off course .. it was an archive that I was been updating for already 3 years ...
