I am wondering why my thread which was here http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?t=73013&goto=newpost (http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?t=73013&goto=newpost) was locked for? It was asking people what they thought of the layouts and stuff. Can someone please let me know.

It is banned from my view. I guess you posted something illegal

I beleive it was due to posting too many urls, it didn't look like a request for a review.

Well is there a thread I can post it in or something?

If you wish to adverise what you offer on your site, you may post it in "Ads & Offers" (1 ad/week allowed). If you want feedback on your webdesign, you may post it in "Review my webdesign". But please only one site.

Am I allowed to post those url's in the ads and offers? I didn't mean to break the other rule which is why I am asking if I am allowed to post all my urls in the ads and offers thread. Thanks.

No, that's not considered an ad or an offer. That sounds more like you're trying to post your urls, to get indexed in search engines or something. And it's of very little interest to our members to read such posts.

No, I use a program to submit my sites to all the search engine/directories. I was just posting them so people here would know about them in case it might be of interest to them is all.

As Peo said, if you want a site reviewed, use the reviews forum, if you have something to offer, use ads and offers, anything else will be seen as spam.

I did use that but as Peo said it was closed cause I apparently posted to many urls and he more a less told me that I couldnt post it in the ads or offers either so I am ok with that. They are on my signature so if anyone wants to go to them they can. Thanks for the info though. I appreciated it.

It all comes down to Blank Verse's golden rule of FWS posting. If you want your threads to stay open for discussion, do NOT be a wad.

Well if I even knew what a WAD was, I am sure I wasn't doing that. I just posted them so people could review them and go to them if it might be something they were interested in is all. I think this thread just needs to be closed now as Peo and Jan both gave me the answer in which I was looking for. Thanks again to both of them. An administrator may close this now.
