Not sure how close you are going to get because thats a high quality list for free hosting.

Anyway I think my service will be a close bet.

Personal plan(Free)
* 25meg space
* 1gig transfer
* php/perl
* ftp
* user placeable 120x60 button

Yes f2s will modify code. If have many tables in my desgin and f2s adds the 'standard' <tbody> tags and stuff. I don't like it. Doesn't really matter nemore since i'm moving 2 paid hosting soon enuf.... :D :D :D :D

Any way I can get the same deal? I've been looking for a good host since DigitalRice died.

tandoc

havent we all Zero. You should check the forums every once in awhile. DigitalRice is coming back on the 21st with subdomain hosting 10-50mb and everything they used 2 have except PHP and SSI.

I know... sadly, SSI is one of the few things i need. I use NewsPro to update my site.

you can use PHP, just change the extension to .php and where you would have the SSI include, just put:

<? include ("(location of news.txt directory)/news.txt"); ?>

Yup, that's what I do.

niv

and if i only had perl, i'd just put print around everything and just use the standard include "blah/news.txt"

well even if Zero was to do that DigitalRice doesn't support PHP anymore! :( I'm moving to Yupapa because of the SSI and .htaccess support

like i said, it can be done with perl ;)

tandoc

i know it can.... that was one of the solutions i thought would work when DigitalRice took away SSI. But it just makes it more complicated. because everyline you wanted to put more content besides the print = "what ever"; I'm probably wrong but thats how I see it. It could also be done is asp or using Javascript
