Hi folks.

For the past number of years I have been involved in advocacy work for children here in Ireland and abroad who have been abused etc.
I have set up a number of sites in relation to this field, one being ImprisonedChildren.Com - a site dedicated to ending the imprisonment of children as adults in the USA. I registered the domain under a free reseller I had at the time at ResellersPanel.Com and the site was receiving about 3,000 unique visits a week and had about 200 members on the forums.
I knew the domain was up for renewal today along with the hosting plan and a few days ago, I applied to have the domain transferred to ZeroRegistry.Com and move the site to my own server.
I paid the transfer fee to ZeroRegistry.Com, who are not at fault here, the guys there are brillient. Since then, the domain has been locked in process awaiting approval from the losing host.
I contacted ResellersPanel.Com the day of the transfer application and asked them to approve it. They said that they would as soon as they have received approval. I thought no more of it.
Yesterday, knowing I had one day left to get the site moved, I contacted ResellersPanel again, telling them that I wanted the transfer approved. They then decide to tell me: "You are meant to transfer domains 10 days prior to expiration date." Nowhere on their site can I see this stated.
I go to ImprisonedChildren.Com today and the account is suspended. I know also that if a domain is not transferred before the expiration date, which is today - August 4th - the new registrar cannot accept the transfer.
Can anyone tell me what, if anything, I can do about this?
The domain is registerred under my name etc.
To lose this domain will be like losing a wad of cash if you know what I mean. It is of value to me and its members, not mentioning the millions of kids it represents.

Thanks.

I want it transferred. You cannot buy a domain with ResellersPanel without buying a hosting plan and visa versa.

I see, I have just had a look at zeroregistry's website and they should allow the the tranfer there no reson for them not to if ResellersPanel accept the tranfer.

i use the same system as zeroregistry and I dont full see why it not possible problem.

No. You are missing the point. ;)

ZeroRegistry has approved it. ResellersPanel has not approved it.

Well,
They have refused. They wanted me to renew the domain with them for $15.00 and then transfer it. I told them to shove it.

Well to me the domain name is still active. I use www.dnsstuff.com to look up information about websites. It shows the main page to imprisonedchildren.com but when u click the picture it does say access is forbidden. I thought there was always something fishy about resellerspanel.com

if you want the domain then thats the only way but it not very nice of them to want you to renew it. Is the domain in your name or theres?

It's in his name. Sue them, or at least threaten to, you have the rights to the domain name.

I looked up his information and it is in his name. For all means of contact. Their name is no where around that I could see.
