We'r renovating this second house we got. Half done, 3-4 months to go.
Yesterday my mom informed me she wanted a light switch in her walkin closet instead of that ugly string hanging from the lightbulb. So I got to work.
Started cutting the wall. Then the saw's blade hit a nail or something and jumped. Blade hit my left hand's middle finger. "---- ---- ----!!!"
Ran to the basement, put the finger under cold water and waited.
I had 7 blade teeth marks on the finger, part of the nail cut, but still holding in place, small purple/black blob under the part of the cut nail, and the weirdest, under the finger, like say the part where they'd fingerprint you, this big blackish/purplish blob. I first tought it was burnt (try stoping a blade with your finger heh) but it looks like this blob is actually under the first layer of skin.
Took some leftover pills from the first finger and took the day off, couldnt do nothing more. So I finished the job this morning, but I had to clean the blood first. There was some on every wall of the closet including the ceiling. That blade must of hit the finger pretty good heh.
I got an appointment on friday for the chair finger. (Its oki doki now. Im not wearing that huge cast thing over it. However only half of the nail grown back yet. Still a few weeks before it looks normal again).
So I'll ask the doctor what that big blob under the finger might be.
