SUMMER AVAILABILITY:
At present, our service will only operate during the time period between September and May. The reason for this is simple. PageSpin is run by college students and summer tends to be a hectic time. Although we have fast internet connections available to us throughout the summer, it is highly un-economical to ship our servers with us as we travel.
PageSpin does operate for 3/4's of the year. It was conceived to be a springboard for sites that want the benefits of commercial hosting but are in a transition stage. Surely 9 months is enough time for websites to be moved to commercial servers.
As a sigh of relief, we do not delete accounts every summer. Unless you tell us otherwise, we will re-host your site automatically when September comes around.
AN ALTERNATIVE PROPOSAL:
There is a possibilitly that we can host websites all year long. If are users are willing to front the shipping costs, we will consider moving the servers as we go. Inquires for donations of $10 or more can be sent to us by clicking here. Users who support us financially will be rewarded by double the allotted disk space giving them 120 MBs to host their site. Keep in mind, though, unless we recieve enough funds to ship the servers, we can't do it. So if only a few give, then we have to shut down the servers for the summer. Keep in mind that we will require donations every summer that you want yearlong access.
