Hello, I run a Windows 98,
what happens is that everytime I click on a folder and the page loads up, like in My Documents, or Program Files, the message below pops up, how do i stop this message.....

ahhh...I have seen that error message a few times on a very old computer of mine. Well you best be checking for spyware and viruses because they will post things like this often. If not that check microsofts website's support section at www.microsoft.com maybe a patch is avalible that you do not know of? Also...why not upgrade Windows? at least to 2000 which is MUCH more stable? Good luck with your problem...I am glad that Microsoft has at least attempted to get rid of many of those errors now in XP.

hmm... the error only started coming only after I went to Microsoft Windows Updates and got the latest version of Explorer....
oh n thnx for helpin AggieDude, i'll see wat i can do....

uninstall the latest version of IE
and get firefox :P

it should work
you should just have a restore point, so simply restore it, and poof! your fixed. ;)

I'm sorry to say this but, I do not know what you are talking about...
I'm jus going to try to update it again, and see what happens...

Start-->All programs-->Accessories>>System Tools-->System Restore

i have checked, and i dont have a System Resore file in the System Tools folder.

go to programs-search-and type in system restore. TheMoose is saying the truth. That works 90% of the time.
