Howdy all:
This post has nothing to do with web hosting or web design, but it does have to do with computers and since we are in General Discussion I thought I would come out and seek some assistance.
Over the last couple of days I noticed that I am having trbl installing software when it directly appears to utilize the InstallShield Wizard. The programs look like they are going to completely install, and then, out of no where I get a another window and it says: The InstallShield wizard has been interrupted, no changes have been made.
Now, as a test I have uninstalled a few other pieces of software that I was not using regularly, as well as removing and then re-installing AOLIM. This issue appears to be related to software for my job, but still utilzing the Install Wizard. I am looking for some software I can try that will use the wizard directly without completely wasting my time.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? It bugs the hell out of me, and I really need the work software to load!
Dell D600 is the laptop in question. Windows Microsoft XP SP2 is the O/S...I know, I know, it is the O/S, but hey, it is what work gives me! Question now is can anyone fix it?????
Thanks,
Craig M.
