You can advertise unmetered I believe..

And the banner is probably google or something..

The fact remains: it's Peo's site, he can do whatever he wants with it.

You can't advertise unlimited/unmetered bandwidth/space.

The rules clearly state that if you advertise unmetered/unlimited it will be deleted. So be careful. That is strange though..

you really shouldn't question the authority. If Peo does not want it that way then you have to abide by those rules..or just dont participate in the forums.

Rules are rules. You should know as a web host anyways that unmetered/unlimited does not exist.

I really don't see it as questioning the authority. The user asked a legitimate question.

Peo could block that URL from showing up on his Google Ads...

Well the way I see it is this, It's Peo's site/company and if he allows it then so be it. It is not a question of authority or anything else. Just the way it is.

There really isn't any need to be discussing this as Peo has stated no unmetered or unlimited offers.

Is that really possible? Not as far as I know, though I admit I've only dealt with adwords from the advertiser end. Anyhow even if it does offer the ability to block individual urls, it's not like you can collect a list of all possible "unlimited" urls and block them in advance, so it's surely not a reasonably practical option.

Though if it's anything like the advertiser end, perhaps they could have negative keywords to exclude sites associated with "unlimited" from showing. Never seen a company give that option to the publisher, but it could be good if they did.

If I recall correctly, that's exactly what you can do. You can filter out certain words to stop certain ads from being displayed.

I think that unlimited bandwidth should be allowed, but unlimited space not, because they use hard drives, and the biggest are about 1TB. When they mean unlimited bandwdith, all they mean is that you can x mb of bandwidth in 1 second. And the cable is x mbit/second.

so 100mbit cable means 100mb bandwidth/second.

Correct me if i am wrong.

You are referring to unmetered bandwidth, which does exist. Unlimited bandwidth does not exist. :-)
