Outlook Express, Hotmail and MSN Messenger all stopped working?

So. I've just got back from my holiday, and my parents discovered this morning that Outlook Express isn't working. Contacted the ISP and they say it's not their problem, and it must be a Microsoft thing. Having tried both the new version of MSN Messenger and Hotmail this evening, they both crashed the computer. I am running a virus scan right now but am not sure if it's anything to do with that. Does anyone have any idea what this might be caused by?

no clue...it is just another microsoft problem. See if you can notify them via their website about the problem (idk if u can do this but u should be able to). Either way, however, i suggest switching to Thunderbird (you can download it here (http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/)) it is a much better email client than outlook express.

What version of windows you running? Yes it may be a virus, your computer may be running low on virtual memory etc. However I have tried every e-mail program and the best one yet is outlook or outlook express. I recommend them both. and incredimail as well.

It's probably just another Maintainance that they are having. I have this problem constantly with my MSN. Not that much with outlook tho.

I guess we can all say...to make it clear and short..its another microsoft flaw they are having AGAIN!
