 Grrr. I've lost the two paned view in windows explorer. Don't know how or when. I seldom use it in that mode. I can only see the left (now only) window with folders, no files. Anyone knows the registry hack to get it right again?

Where? In Explorer? I don't have an option like that. I'm using win95.

I have (ME) all inscriptions in Russian. In English they are probably File, Edit, Appearance.
By the last you will able to adjust properties, if only there isn’t some corruption in OS.

Nope. To put it plainly, in win95 there are no option for the window itself in explorer, just for how the icons are presented (big, small, list) and toolbar.
I'm almost sure this happened when I cleaned the registry too eagerly. I've read about the entry someplace but I don't remember where and can't find anything relevant in the registry itself.

While you will seek, you can use IE instead of E. Simply type c: in the address field of IE.
May be it’s possible in W95 to delete E and then install it. It’s easier than to repair the registry.

Oh, no prob. I mostly use the "click on single folder" view. But I want to find the ----. Reinstalling is for wimps.
