After pushing luggage carts at the airport and selling insurance to old folks i finally got a respectable job.
I'm now a "Bell Technical Support Agent"
What a honorary title isnt it :p
Now I'll be the moron asking if your modem lights are on and if you triple checked your cables :devious2:

GoodLuck. I think being a tech agent for an ISP is the worse job. Half your customers don't know crap and the other half think they know more than you

Well, most of the time we do know more than you..because we are the ones here with our computers, and they are sitting in front of their own computer..right at the source. So we know what is and isn't working ;)
Wojtek, you are now the enemy..I hate bell..they're a bunch of morons there..they've got so many bloody departments they never get anything done right..last year when we moved they thought it was a network card driver error..when it really turned out to be a problem with the connection since we weren't hooked into a remote that was anywhere near us..thus the connection wasn't working. Add on to the fact that Dell's agents suck a lot..I had to reinstall the drivers myself..the moron didn't know what the hell he was talking about..
Seriously, some companies (dell..) are getting too cheap with their tech support..

And in most cases they do.
Hopefully Wojtek will be a little different than the run-of-the-mill idiot CSR. :biggrin2:

You think most customers know ANYTHING about what's going on? I don't.

There's a small percentage--far less than half, that actually understand more than the CSR. And it's these people that have it hard when they try to communicate with CSRs because all they get is bull----.
