Hey :)

I was wondering if stormload.com offers a subdomain? I heard that it gives you *80* megs -I don't know about you... but I'd say that's close to unlimited!!! O_O That's more space then I have on my computer!!! Whoa. I'm thinking about moving there!!!! tee hee hee

Thanks,
~CW

Tom. im working with pcs at work that only have 500mb harddrives now that is sad.

And teaching from them is hard because they always run out of virtual memory.

Ha!!! I don't even have 80 gigs!!!! I wish, pal! I hardly have any space on my computer. And you know what worse? I whole hard drive is filled with Japanese rock videos and mp3s!!! O_O

You hardly see good hosts more then 20 mbs... so 80 gigs sounded great.

But enough about my pathetic amount of space!! If you rather talk about my space, how about buying me some, eh? eh??? *flutters eyelashes*

Anyway.... I guess it doesn't matter if stormload.com is a syub-domain.... I guess I'll just move certain things over there, that way I get to keep the url I'm happy with... and I get a lots rrom for my site too :)

Well, I did enough blabbering!

streamload is not a host it's just a place where u can store your movies and mp3...and u get how ever much space u need...that's right there are no limits....*please notice that i'm not saying unlimited* well ...hope that helped and i don't think u only have 80 megs on your computer....or do u

I'm sure you have 80 megs on your hard drive. Reading this thread, people were using megs and gigs interchangably, while they are completely different. Which is it?!

No, I wont be storing mp3s and vidoes ^_^ I don't even have the things to make videos... and I just haven't decided to make a site for mp3s... that and I haven't ever really seen a host that allows it O_o My webpage is about my original stories and art. I'm kinda running out of space on freeservers for my art.... uh-oh @_@ I understand why people get irritated when people use their host just for a storage area.... but I wont be doing that. I'm sure I'll have at least one html file there, and besides, when you run out of space... you kinda run out of options.

So... (reply to a different person) Ppl use gigs and megs as the same thibg... or something? I'm a bit confused. If you were asking the differance, gigs (gbs, gigabites) they are much bigger then megs,(mbs/meagabites). If you weren't asking the differance, and I just confused myself as usual... just ignore what I just said : o

Yes well, in the first post CW mentioned 80Mb's and further down is the quote above. I'm confused, but if I had to guess, she has less than 80Mb left as 80Gb's left wouldn't make much sense.

No... I wasn't the one one who said 80 gigs... I got that from another post here... so I was *really* curious about that. So, that must have been a slip by him/her or something... but hey, 80 megs is a lot too! ^_^

(Oh, and by the way.... I'm female... tee hee ^_~)

Wonder what CW will say (or said) when she hears (or heard) about crosswinds and spaceports... *lol*

BTW, I noticed that the fwp name mentioned changed from "stormload" to "streamload"... are they the same thing?

Streamload sucks, you can't upload with the free service, and you can only download 50MB per day.

You have to be able to upload! How else can you get your files there?

You tell me. I couldn't find the upload button (or link) anywhere on their page, and when I clicked on the upload button the software I downloaded from their site, it tells me I can't upload because I'm not paying. WTF?
