man i love this site... http://www.gunsforkids.com Not because they try to sell guns to kids but because they show how sensational the media can be. Some nbc affiliate reported it as real and a bunch of other affiliates caught on.

After reading that be sure you read this one: http://www.gunsforkids.com/news/netkwesties.html

See the difference? Awful journalism. And law enforcemnet is pretty stupid too here! The fbi really tried to pose as Arab terriorist trying to buy weapons from him!! And who knows how many subpenos were issued from local police. Coporations are pretty stupid here too! Toysrus and Verizon threatened to sue him!!!

Anybody feeling lonely and want to start a site to sell home abortion kits to get some attention???

LOL

I went to that nbc10 website and read the article. I don't know whether to feel sad for all the idiots out there, or to laugh my butt off.

Am I the only one who is really annoyed by all these hack investigative journalists that work for local news stations? This one is no exception.

"Some selling points include such phrases as "climb up on top of a cafeteria table with a tank full of thick, stinking diesel fuel strapped to your back, and watch the reactions of classmates and teachers, and be immortalized in the Guns for Kids Hall of Fame."

“That’s just appalling, especially what’s going on in the schools with Columbine and everything,” said Marcia Schvom, from Wynnefield Heights."

Anybody that takes that statement seriously is a moron. I still can't believe the woman's response. What's pretty obvious to everyone else is a big revelation to her. I don't think there's much doubt that the above *joke* is referring to schools like "Columbine and everything". I just can't get over the fact that this woman thought they just made up the part about "cafeteria tables" without having any reference to Columbine, Littleton, etc.

“It’s terrible,” said Barbara Smith, from West Philadelphia. “It’s too easy. The Internet is too easy for kids to get on and buy guns."

Actually, it's not. I'm tired of morons who don't even know how to turn on a computer saying stuff like "it's so easy to buy bombs on the internet", "it's so easy for kids to buy porn over the internet", "it's so easy to by human meat on the internet" (see www.manbeef.com, also a joke site that morons like this would believe was real)

That's what NBC10 News thought, so we tried it out ourselves. An NBC10 employee went online to buy a gas mask. It was easy.

A gas mask? This site claims to be selling everything from Uzis to Flame Throwers and you're worried about them selling a gas mask? Wow, great journalism there. You can buy a gas mask on ebay for cryin' out loud! I bet this hack investigator will go after everybody's favorite auction site next.

Furthermore, it's false to say such a task was "easy" since you obviously never sent your order through. You even say that yourselves:

“One mask is $190, so we'll go to check out," the employee said. “They want your parent’s name, your parent’s credit card number, age and e-mail.”

Within seconds it was done, or so it seemed.

"So what they got is a credit card number a name and an e-mail address,” the NBC10 employee said.

Wow, that NBC10 employee is a genius. How on earth did he ever figure out that they got your CC#, a name, and an e-mail address? Must be one of those investigative journalists
