i found this weird free fowarding service that gives u a website somewhat like a .com

the com-1.net you have a choice of com-1.net through com-9.net

com-1.net

com-5.net

com-8.net
com-9.net

are your choices. its got a little banner at the bottom, but nothing you couldn't remove with coding. :D

I'll just say that must be the most confusing domain I've seen in a bit. Fine for linking, but heavens if you try to tell that to someone. :D

I have a problem with that kind of URLs too. Actually I think this new host that turned up yesterday has an even worse one (sorry host, I know you like it), vwww.net. The service seems very interesting so I hope he gets something else to choose from. ;)
