hello,
i have this idea to produce websites from a concept i
just think up and then sell it.
it will go like this ->
1 make a concept
2 program a site
3 store it at a provider
4 advertise a little for it
5 sell it
will something like this be cost/time effective?
please note that i will not make website's for specific
company's or so, but just for 'who is interrested' in
taking over a nice website for a good price.
hope to have some reactions...

soera,
I've seen people try it, but I don't think very many people actually make any money at it. Look up "web site" at EBay, and you will see a lot of people trying to do the exact same thing you are talking about. Now look at how many of them are actually getting bids.

thank you for the advice,
a well... i'm going to try it anyway, because i think
it will be good for my web-programming / designing skils.
and *maybe* somebody would pay me for it...
dreaming is a good thing for people with idea's the say ;)

Not a thing wrong with that. You could also use the sites you design as a portfolio for other design work. Do you have any examples of sites you have designed?

at this moment i have developed with others:
ComputerVraagbaak (http://www.computervraagbaak.nl) -
A Dutch question point for people with very few
computer experience. It's developed with PHP & MySQL
and i'm working on (not yet finished) :
Korfbal Vereniging Zutphen (http://www.kvz2000.nl) -
A homepage for my sport club. Developed with PHP &
MySQL
My personal homepage (http://www.soera.net) -
Just a simple personal homepage, not much to it....
GelderGroep intranet ( no URL... it's intranet, not extranet ;) ) -
It has a groupware agenda, search-engine, posting
system and a file-managemnt system.
At this moment i'm working to improve my PHP skills, because
i know the basics, but I always have to look to the manual when i'm doing complexe tasks... so it isnt' quit perfect you could say.
