View Full Version : Video game chicks

After reading about a second Playboy spread of virtual girls, I was wondering if any of you guys actually find this appealing. I mean, I find it disturbing and weird. The only *good* thing about virtual people is admiring how much work and how unbelievable detailed some of the characters are now. (eg Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess).
But does an issue of Playboy, featuring this pixel porn, entice any of you to actually buy an issue? (Assuming you aren't all regular PlayBoy viewiers :tongue2: ). Or do you find it lame as well?

I can't say "pixel porn" sounds very enticing... most chicks in video games are too anime-esque, so to speak... and that bothers me.
Realistic looking game chicks (like Alyx from HL2) can be hot, but I can't say I'd want to see her nude... that would just be odd.

i've never really played any game with girls for the sole reason that they had girls. except for the sims. I like to try to catch them naked

I've had an ongoing Playboy (the print mag) subscription since the year 2000. Mainly because my girlfriend likes to read it, and it's nice to have a few of them on the coffee table (the first thing our guests notice :biggrin2:). I think it's a quality magazine with tasteful content.
Pixel girls, however, aren't my cup of tea. But as long as most of it's content is about real people, I'll keep subscribing...

The articles actually are rather interesting... ( I got a two free issues last year from a promotional offer)
...but not interesting enough to pay for.

No, I prefer my nudity 100% natural. None of this artificial crap! So, give me the regular Playboy bunnies! ;)

No, i cant say virtual female anatomy is a turn-on. But, think of G4, they have a show called Vixens of Video Games where they rate virtual chicks. Obviously there is some kind of market for it.
Plus, recent studies have suggested that virtual girls are the only kind many G4 viewers can get.
[except I still like Call for Help, but miss TechTV]

Beggars can't be choosers, pixels will do for me :biggrin2:
However, the playboy graphics aren't too appealing, give me a good H-game anyday :bandit2:

I knew there was a fetish for just about anything, but seriously, video game chicks? What a joke. Like people buying that Lara Croft game just for Lara Croft.
I prefer ASCII porn.

BV, you know me better than my own mother.
She's not quite done yet, but when she is... trust me Torrid is such a weak word.

It's obviously out there, I just never knew it went as far as a Playboy spread before.
I'll bet Hugh didn't like that one very much.

I'm sure he didn't. He's as "oldschool" as you can get.
I really respect that guy.
