Legal Documents for Domain Ownership

arent there any kinds of legal documents which provides that u r the legal owner of a domain for this amount of time, for e.g. i get a domain from godaddy..but osme kind of proof of ownership...

well, your name will be on whois, but there is nothing on papper

yeah, what hanz said. its all electronic. They keep a e-database of the whois at ICANN i believe.
