question..

how much RAM do you have? and how much are other programs using?

If you are using anything other than IE 5.5, I'd upgrade to it. I'd even upgrade to the beta version of 6. it's pretty cool. does crash every once in a while, though

I have 128Mb ram, and it crashes regardless of what i have running, and i am using IE 5.5

Maybe IE is conflicting with some other program on ur comp. When did this problem start ? if you installed a software recently try uninstalling it.

also, after you click on a link, don't press on the wheel and scroll (if you have a wheel mouse) because it'll crash: "Invalid instruction"

Doesn't the IE setup program have a repair option?

Yup, IE has a repair program...

Go to your control panel and go in add/remove programs...

and Click on Internet Exploror, and hit the remove button and it will pop up, remove, repair, update or something like that...

Hit repair...and it will try and fix itself (usually it doesn't - just by my experience).

You could also try to install internet explorer 6.0, when i did that it cleared up some issues that i was having.

IE 6.0 has always caused problems for me when I installed it...

Kind of funny in a maddening sort of way how it can work perfectly on some computer, but not others.

I would download IE 6, but i am too lazy, and i feel it would make no difference.

i would use lynx, but i'm not a fan of 8 bit ANSI graphics ;)

I think this is interesting

If you install multiple operating systems on a single drive, Microsoft Internet Explorer may quit and you may receive an error message that is similar to the following error message:
iexplore caused an Invalid Page Fault in module kernel32.dll
