From their TOS:

The following list of file types are the only file types permitted on SelfHosted members sites. All other file types are not permitted:

js, swf, au, snd, mid, midi, ram, wav, gif, jpg, wrl, vrml, css, html, htm, rtf, png, psd, ico, doc, php, sql;

Any other files located by SelfHosted will be automatically deleted.

The maximum upload file size is 1MB. The limit for jpegs is 1 MB, for gifs is 1MB and for HTML or Text files is 0.5MB.

i guess it is good for small sites.
