can anyone guide me which is the best and most simple content manager one can use .Currently i am using mambo.

My first love SubDreamer ..... this was the only cms that i used & its really really simple to use & easily integrates with vb, ipb, phpbb or smf forums. (but is not open source!)
One other popular cms is koobi (but i think its in some foreign language)

currently mambo has turned into joomla.....look at opensourcecms.org they have rating there.....i would E107 is the best its so simple backend and frontend...

stay away from that ----...to much security bugs..and the programmer guy that makes it is a prat...read reviews on php-nuke? it will scare you www.opensourcecms.com

Mambo is an excellent solution, probably your best free choice. PHP Nuke has great possibilities but currnetly has a lot of work ahead of it. It contains many security holes and where websites using PHP Nuke were easily brought down to their knees.
