Anyone know of a free pdf reader?
Not Adobe hangs my browser for 3min while it loads reader.
Not visagesoft 'expert' pdf reader which crashes all the time.
Any others that are reliable?

Download the PDF file and then open it in Adobe. Don't use the built in browser features. I don't think there are any other readers besides Acrobat.

Search for Foxit PDF Reader in Google. It lacks the built-in browser support (which is slow btw) but it's much faster than Adobe's Reader

I want to do that, but somehow Adobe is hooked into mozilla and I can't find how to unhook it.

try right-clicking the file, open with and 'choose program' - then choose Adobe Acrobat Reader and check 'Always use this program blah blah' and click OK.

Homepage: http://www.foxitsoftware.com
It's small, easy to use and free.

^ Yup, and you don't have to install anything, and it doesn't have all that loading like Adobe Acrobat does in the beginning, and uses very little space and resource.
You could also download it here (http://www.download.com/Foxit-PDF-Reader/3000-2079_4-10365812.html?tag=lst-6-10) .

got Foxit PDF Reader. It works very well, and so far none of the visagesoft bugs.
Thanks!

Doesnt that make a lot of sense? This goes to show you the maturity level of the people on here.

Get an older version of Adobe PDF reader, version 5 loads very quick.

That was unappropriate. I wll let the user know that that isn't very nice as well as remove that reputation from your profile.

How much RAM do you have on your computer? Because the bigger the file, the more RAM it'll take, or depending on the program. Also, a printer needs even more RAM to print out a PDF than a picture or word file.
