anyway, a cron job is like a timer...you can have a certain command or script run in *nix at a certain date and time.

if not...

a Cron 'job' is kinda like a timer for a *nix computer...

you can have it run a certain command at a set time or interval. for instance.. you could write a perl script to check to see if anybody have signed your guestbook, then email you the results (if any), then set a cron 'job' to run the script once a day, at 11:58pm or something...

help any?
