I see yahoo haveing a email service over 1gb+ and Gmail Provides 2GB+ :P
whatever they both are famous search engines , having about similar things in both of programs...

What u prefer most ???? :classic2:

I personally prefer yahoo. because the email is better, and the search brings back more relevant results

I prefer Google:


Much more results than Yahoo (20 billion vs 11 Billion)
Search engine loads faster with the results
Main page not cluttered like Yahoo

I also prefer google over yahoo.

My dad on the other hand like yahoo... so its not genetic.. :wink2:

I use Yahoo mail for my personal account, but Google's search engine is by far superior over Yahoo.

Google is better, harder to manipulate the results so it is more relevant!

google- search
gmail- send pics w/ picasa
yahoo- use for sending and recieing mail on my POP3 Accounts I have it attached to my grandparents SBC account so I get 2GB and outgoing mail on my POP3's 4 free. Works well...I dont really have a computer that stays put long enough so I just decided to go online with my email...yahoo has the best interface by far!

A few days after that report came out, there were sources indicating Yahoo! was incorrect. They didn't have 20 billion pages.

For personal email, I'm LOVING Gmail, just based on the search function... "hmm, what was my friends phone number again?" (631) ... click search mail, bam

I use both Yahoo email and Gmail. One is for personal (gmail) and one is more business-based (along w/pop3 retrevial -yahoo). I suppose I may like GMail's interface better, but they are close.

For serach, Google all the way. The results make much more sense.

Yahoo! always sounds too excited. "Yahoo! Mail"... my mail isn't exciting enough to warrent using an exclaimation point. Those are in short supply you know, and Yahoo! just bandies them about as if they were nothing.

Persoanlly, I like Google. It returns results way faster, but they may not all be relevant, however, you can make it to where you have to have results with certain words in them ( I am not sure about Yahoo, but Ithink they do this too). Also, with Gmail nearly hitting 3 GB, and Yahoo only offering 1, there isn't much of a competition there. GMail's search is great, becuase it is like Google, but without all the crap results ( ;-) ). Now..... Yahoo does offer hosting, but we aren't talking about that. ( I think it is rumored that Google willbe doing hosting of some kind some time soon).

Im using both.
I noticed some google errors when attaching files.

the only reason i have a yahoo mail account still is for YIM.
and Gmail just gets better and better! theres like 5 new features every month, and pretty much unlimited space as it just goes up and up!

It's not just about size; Gmail is ground-breaking in almost every aspect. The clean interface is what I like most.

Google email is not delayed. comes in very fast
There search engine also is not cluttered with useless garbage a normal surfer does not need or even need to see!..
Far quicker and better site to use. if i want to look at Curency pairs ill go to a trading/brokerage website not yahoo.

yahoo really is lame and overdone. slow and full of spam with a search that produces poor results.
recently google has added some extra advertisement on there front page which is a dissapointment but overall it still is far cleaner then yahoo.


in my opinion, yahoo cannot even be compared to a company/website like google.
google is in a class of its own, we are in the 20th century now.!
