How much downloading do you guys do? I download about 4~6GBs a month on my trusty 33.6k, more than all the other users of my small town ISP download a month, combined :D.

considering that downloading a page also counts, i say my 56k can handle 5+GB a month ;)

About 75MB... I am using a ADSL 256K Connection. (Shareware)
4GB-6GB on a 33.6k Connection? Sounds like you spend too much time on the internet, downloading that much an ADSL Connection is logical but on a 33.6k Modem Connection would take forever.
The page counts are like 4 million times that though... maybe 10GB of Videos on News, Historical and Political References, All the pages counts, etc. I don't actually download these videos though.

Actually. What I do is drop everything I want into my GoZilla list and just let my computer run while I'm at work all day on Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fri. and it runs ever night while I'm asleep (3:00 AM - 6:30 AM). It takes me like 6 days to download 1.5GB. When I go on vacation, I setup a list of about 3GBs and just let it run while I'm gone. Once I get my cable line, I'll probablly double or triple that much.

I download as much as I can: 1.5 gig a month. My host has a download limit of 1.5 gig.
Thats good though, because the majority of other hosts around here have download limits of anywhere from 100mb - 500mb a month. It's pathetic.

I would probably do something similar to Nick with my trusty 28.8, but i have limited hours for an outrageous price.

On my old 56k service it costs $9.95/Month for unlimited, but there is a catch. The Phone company charges an outrageous penny a minute, and it adds up. Especially if you hefty downloading like some you, you could end up with $300 Phone Bills.

I downloaded 2 GB last month. I mostly use Morpheus to download all the stuff I need and sometimes from download.com

I get 120 hours/ month split between a couple of other people. it costs 22.95/mo canadian. There are cheaper isps in town, and one with an unlim. plan for the same price. Why we dont spring for it is beyond me

We have a phone line JUST for my internet cause it's on all the time. Since it's a local call we get the cheapest plan with most minutes. They internet phone bill is always under 40$.

Read in "Speech Format":
Down in "Canada", we lumberjacks and fur traders have cable internet. It is called Rogers (sometimes Cogeco, or even Shaw) @home. I live in Toronto (w00t!) and I constantly pull 250 MB+ a day! Therefore, in an average month I pull 7.5 GB! Most of it is videos........ and software........ and other "stuff". My name is Rob, and I am........Canadian!!
Parlez vous francais?
(Do you speak french?) I don't.

Maybe thats what I should do. If I deleted all the install files I didnt use, I'd only have 2~3 CD-rs of programs instead of 9 :p.
