I need a fast reliable web host, preferrably more than 50 mb, and it can't be down much at all. I do not need anything like cgi or php, just html and images should be enough. Any suggestions?

Doesn't Tripod claim copyright to anything you upload?
and i forgot to mention I will NEVER use a host with popups. I hate those. I prefer no advertising but a banner is ok as long as it's not gigantic or really really flashy. you know those ones that hurt your eyes cuz they flash bright yellow, red or orange. none of that...

ok thanks, they sounded good from what i read in another thread...do you know if they allow linking to an image from another location? i'm also trying to find a place where i can keep a banner for a banner exchange.

not to be picky but I hate Yahoo, and since Geocities is a part of Yahoo... actually fact is I made my first site over a year ago with Yahoo pagebuilder, now I'm trying to use the advanced editor and when I click save, it can never connect to the server, so I've gotten fed up with them.
but mektek looks very good, do they allow .wav, .au, and mp3s? because I may just have to move my main site there if they're as good as they look. that'd be plenty of room for my Monty Python sound files, no worries  I love the host I'm using for that site but they don't allow mp3s cuz of bandwidth usage. they have fast servers and want to be sure and keep them that way as they're mainly for graphics sites, which need good fast servers. anyways i'm done rambling for now :)
